Calling all sports fans, you’re warmly invited to the RE:PLAY bar this summer, our brand new Sports Bar at Thistle City Barbican, Shoreditch. The grand opening will be on 18th June, kicking-off with England’s first World Cup game. We’ll be celebrating the amazing Summer of Sport ahead, from the World Cup to Wimbledon, there’s no better place to get in on the action and witness your favourite sports stars do what they do best. RE:PLAY is also fully kitted-out with an arsenal of big screens, including a gigantic 75” TV and comfy booths fitted with their very own individual TVs to watch all the sport unfold.
If you are feeling a bit peckish, hungry or absolutely ravenous, the kitchen will be serving up a tasty menu of delicious food and snacks to choose from; and of course a great selection of drinks, cocktails and beer for you to wash it all down with. Whether you fancy a quick pint or you’re bringing a party of 10 sports fanatics, RE:PLAY is a real London experience, with a vibrant and relaxed atmosphere. It has been designed with you in mind, to make you feel right at home. It really is the perfect setting to savour this summer’s feast of sport and camaraderie with friends and family – we like to think of it as your very own shrine to sports!
Summer of Sport – catch all the unmissable action at the Bar
For lovers of the Beautiful Game, this summer only means one thing of course – the World Cup. Kicking-off on 14th June until the final whistle on 15th July, we’ll be playing live screenings of all the games from Russia on all our big screens. From England to Panama, whoever your home team is, come and join the buzzing atmosphere and cheer your team on. If that isn’t enough, the Premier League season starts up again on 11th August. At RE:PLAY, we’re truly having a feast of football!
Whether you’re rooting for Andy Murray, Federer, Djokovic, Nadal or an underdog at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships (July 2nd – 15th), come watch the world’s best players grace the famous lawns for the most prestigious Grand Slam tennis tournament there is. No tickets to Centre Court? No problem. Our bar team are on hand to serve you the ultimate Wimbledon experience while you watch the action unfold.
This is the one where it all began, golf’s original and most international major championship. The 147th edition of the British Open at Carnoustie tees-off this summer (July 19th – 22nd), and the competition for the Claret Jug is as fierce as ever. Watch the players take strategic putts and smash it down the middle as they take on the famous 18 holes. Legends will be made to join The Open’s star-studded hall of fame, so make sure you’re there to witness it. Will Tiger Woods make a comeback after his three-year hiatus?
