Legoland Malaysia, set to open at the end of 2012, but already has something to boast about: Ollie the Dragon, who is made out of 10,000 bricks of Lego.
Last week, the freshly created Ollie was welcomed by Siegfried Boerst of Legoland Malaysia and Philip Skitch, GM of Thistle Johor Bahru Hotel.
For the time being, Ollie will be hanging out at the reception of the nearby Thistle Johor Bahru until his new home is ready at the end of the year. A partnership with Legoland Malaysia is currently being planned so Thistle Johor Bahru guests may be eligible for preferential rates at the park! Keep an eye on our website for announcements.
Ollie’s future home, Legoland Malaysia, will be over 70 acres of fun for the whole family. There’ll be plenty to choose from, with seven themed areas, each with their own experiment centers, roller coasters, water attractions and shows.
Miniland will recreate a number of famous Asian towns and landscapes at a spectacular 1:20 scale with over 25 million Lego bricks.
If you need more information on tickets, visit the park’s website at www.LEGOLAND.com.my.
So, if you want to celebrate the year of the Dragon with Ollie, you can now consider a trip to our Thistle Johor Bahru Hotel.
