Since January this year, Thistle Piccadilly has gone through major refurbishment. With the lobby and reception being redecorated over the last few months, the refurbishment is now completed. Here’s an insight into its new looks…

With its authentic Victorian exterior, Thistle Piccadilly is one of the few Leicester Square hotels that fits right in amongst its genteel neighbours on one of London’s most famous streets. Fortnum & Mason, the Royal Academy, Hatchards (Britain’s oldest bookshop) and the boutiques of the Burlington Arcade are all within a short stroll, as is the quintessential London landmark, Piccadilly Circus.

Since January this year, the hotel has gone through a major refurbishment.  In July, 82 newly refurbished bedrooms  have been finished, as well as the House Lounge, which is one the highlights of the hotel’s new outfit.  This modern ground floor lounge bar is an ideal place to relax and watch the world go by.

This month the year-long refurbishment has been completed. The last stage of works was focused on the lobby and reception area. The lobby has now got special lights to emphasis the theatrical location of the hotel for guests.

Another great treat for Thistle customers is Costa Coffee, which is now part of the Piccadilly hotel. You can now enjoy a cup of excellent coffee in the very heart of London, without leaving the hotel.

If you’re planning to come around for a stay or just a cup of coffee, while finishing your Christmas shopping you will have a chance to explore the new outfit of Thistle Piccadilly!
